What you get on either plan
The formulation tools themselves are not paywalled. Generating a formula, building one material by material in the Ingredient Builder, exploring briefs in the AI Lab, reviewing IFRA-aware screening notes, and exporting your results are all available without paying, and the whole Learn library is free to read without an account. Pro exists for people who accumulate a lot of work and want it all kept in one place.
How billing works
Upgrades are handled by Stripe. Selecting the Pro plan sends you to a Stripe Checkout page, and Scentena never sees or stores your card details. Once the subscription is active you can open the Stripe billing portal from your account settings to update your payment method, view invoices, or cancel.
Cancelling stops the renewal rather than ending access immediately: your Pro features stay available for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and the account then returns to the Free plan. Your saved formulas are not deleted when a subscription ends. Full details are in the Terms of Service.
Before you sell anything you make
Neither plan turns a generated formula into a market-ready product. Scentena's IFRA-aware checks are a screening aid, not certification, and a paid plan does not change that. You remain responsible for confirming material identity, current supplier documentation and IFRA Standards, any required safety assessment, stability testing, and the labelling and cosmetics law in each market where you intend to manufacture, gift, or sell.
